Day 15:

164.0 today. So, I dropped 1.5 overnight. Down 5 pounds total since January 1. We’ll see how long it lasts, but I’m happy to be back to (the high end of) my norm.

Food was ok. Had yogurt + fruit & some hard-boiled eggs for breakfast. Interestingly, I wasn’t hungry when I woke up and actually took my breakfast to work with me and ate hours later than I’d typically eat. Maybe I’m fully over the starving hump? I think it likely has more to do with a hormonal shift – but whatever – just happy I’m not starving.

Lunch was leftovers. I didn’t count the minutes all morning until time to eat, so again – something is definitely shifting.

Dinner was actually a pretty big success. I was invited to dinner after the running group. I REALLY didn’t want to deviate too much from what I’m doing food-wise, but I also really wanted to go – so I went.

We went to Panera and I picked the salad that sounded the best. Had gorgonzola crumbles, diced egg, tomatoes, bacon, chicken and avocado. I’m sure the vinaigrette dressing had sugar, but likely not nearly as much as my chocolate almonds, so …

I think it was a decent spontaneous choice.

I’m done for the day.

It’s been raining non-stop for a while and causing all kinds of hysteria and school closings. The running group coach sent an email and basically told us to do our own (scheduled) thing tonight if we have access to a treadmill – unless we wanted to come do a circuit/core session that he created (or we could come and run his planned route outside, but against advice). The circuit session was on my 5k schedule for tonight, anyway, so I went. Turns out only 4 people out of EIGHTY showed up. One ran outside, 3 of us did the circuit thing.

I felt so bad. I know they likely wanted to outright cancel, but just couldn’t – but were likely hoping nobody would show.

I’m glad I went. I can’t remember what we did, but I remember squats, burpees & jumping jacks. I know there were at least 3 more, but I’m too tired to think. I’m sure I’ll be sore tomorrow.
